OPERATIONS AUTOMATION / A WORKING EXAMPLE

Supplier changes.
Controlled updates.

Check price and inventory changes against known products. An explicit zero is different from an unavailable response. Keep the last known values when a supplier request fails.

What you’re trying: newly invented, simulated supplier responses checked against a fictional inventory. Retry outcomes are simulated, with up to three responses per item. This page makes no supplier requests and writes to no store or database.

A reviewable trail of every proposed change.

Try editing the simulated responses

Use fictional values only. Expected fields are SKU and an array of response objects. Code 200 needs a non-negative price with at most two decimal places and a non-negative integer stock.

“Replay same batch” compares against the previously updated in-memory inventory, demonstrating that repeated updates are idempotent. “Run sample batch” starts with the original fictional inventory. Production authentication, network retries and timing, persistent audit logs, and store integrations are outside this demonstration.
